Hello
Here's who I am & what I do
I've spent most of my career as a direct occupational therapist in long term care. A few years ago, I was ready for a new adventure, and moved on to a role as health educator. My role also includes client care as a seating therapist. I'm passionate about quality of care and quality of life for the clients I serve.
What do these roles mean?
-
Occupational therapist: Empower clients to do the things that are important to them. Use a strengths based approach, despite client's physical, mental, or emotional challenges.
-
Health educator: Provide leadership and best practice support related to allied health service delivery.
-
Seating therapist: Assess clients for provision of complex wheelchair components to enable participation in daily activities and prevent negative outcomes.
